Gorgeous Lophophora williamsii (Peyote) RS268 Huizache, 9cm, 15 years old.
There is a small amount of marking in the crown which will grow out, please refer to the photos.
The seed was labelled RS268 Huizache but this plant is very autogamous (self fertile) and produces lots of fruit and seeds. The seed could have been mislabelled.
The taproot is just impressive.
Lophophora Care
- Substrate: Very gritty mix with little to no organic material (fertilise with each feed)
- Watering: Spring to Autumn (April to September), infrequently
- Light: Natural or artificial (while young), South facing window or greenhouse.
